I'll fix that leg at some point, now that I know what's bugging it.

Name: Morean (Last name unknown)
Occupation: Battle Mage, Enchanter
Age: 2975 years (~24 in human readable form)
Height: 5’3”
Appearance: Slim, athletic body, green eyes, bronze red hair, dark eye brows, pointy ears

Personality:

Morean is a goal driven woman with a strong competitious attitude. She hates losing and due to her perfectionism is always going all out in every situation. This makes her appear cold and calculative, however most of the times she is just confused, especially in situations where there are a lot of people around her. She finds politics and drama a waste of time, even if she can’t help getting tangled into them, and rather would lead a simple life somewhere in the heat of a battle where the only thing matters is whether you survive.

Unlike the people of her race, she isn’t very sociable although she does enjoy spending an evening with a small group of people, good wine and music. She doesn’t share her inner thoughts often, but you can notice when she’s lost in thought when she’s staring into distance and playing with her hair.

Gods are the only thing that can help you if you make her really angry. Guess that’s something she learnt from her former mentor the Norethian Archmage, Ari.

History:

(Because my little head was pretty dizzy from the slow aging of Norethians after speaking with Anakira, I decided to write this description using only the physical age, which is more human readable.)

Born to a family of armor crafters Morean spent her baby years at her father’s smithery. The magical abilities of this stubborn and silent child were noticed soon from her games with shields – mostly from the fact she managed to melt one at age of 3. She was sent into the royal institute to study magical arts.

Devoted person as she is, through out her school years she did her best to graduate as the best from her class, thus ignoring most of social activities and cutting the ties to her family in order to fully concentrate to reaching her goals. Around age of 8 she nearly failed an examination due to being weak in health, and never forgiving herself such a weakness she started to study arts of war to strengthen her fragile body.

The new studies she had picked up lead her developing a battle style that earned her respect among her peers for its ruthlessness. However it was also noticed that her skills didn't seem to be willing to tie themselves into just two elements, and even if she's mainly using fire and air her magic possesses impurities, which would suggest her main element being something chaotic. Not being certain what is up with her, she often refuses to use big amounts of magic and tries to rely on her close combat skills.

After countless battles, a lot of scolding from her higher ups and graduating from the institute Morean ended up working as part of the royal body guard. She tried to leave the palace when the ruckus in the royal family started to brew, however ended up being caught shortly after the escape. Because of her cold attitude towards the phenomenas and her unpredictable nature, she almost got marked for treason, but she was able to regain her position, even if she wasn’t interested into returning to the service of the royal palace.

Looking very nice! The legs look a bit off, but other than that it's pretty awesome. The fire and the blue energy are beautifully done...I really like your method of shading as well. :)

Agreed with Brian. You waited a bit low to have her leg come out, but she's gorgeous! Well done!

Hmm. You mean that the knee is too low/thigh too long/the legarches outwards from too low from the assumed hip area? o.o

I'll probably look into fixing it at some point. =) I've started to form a big habbit of tweaking and tweaking and tweaking stuff <.< So who knows what this one will still go through.

I don't know much about the world the races live in so creating a background story for the character is a big tough. Any helpers?

Thank you. ^^ I was trying out a completely new method for this picture for the shading and I'm pretty happy myself how it turned out too. =)

I'm a little bothered by the leg myself too, however I have hard time putting my finger on what exactly is wrong with it.

Impressive design. The color scheme is amazing and the shading and detail is very wonderful as well.

There's something off about the hand holding the torch/staff... It's angled in a way that suggests she's holding the torch straight, yet it's at an angle. Either than that, this is very beautiful. Well done.
